Gsons is a family-built food brand that started exactly where most good food stories do around the dining table.

It began with a simple moment: sharing a meal, spooning chilli oil onto almost everything, and collectively agreeing, “Why does this make everything taste so good?”
What started as a casual family conversation quickly turned into a shared thought this needs to exist beyond our table.

Food has always been the heart of the family.
A mother whose cooking quietly trained everyone’s palate.
A father whose love for chilli oil has absolutely no limits.
Siblings, partners, and loved ones who backed the idea from day one.

Chef, foodie, flavour hacker.

Hani is the founder of Gsons and the chef behind its flavours. Fond of food and cooking from a young age, Hani went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts in Malaysia, where his appreciation for Asian food culture, ingredients, and techniques took shape. That influence runs deep his pantry is filled with Asian sauces and staples, and wherever he travels, local grocery stores are often his first stop. At Gsons, Hani leads everything from recipe development and flavour balance to sourcing and creative direction, translating family food memories and professional training into products made with intention. This is food built on instinct, experience, and respect for taste
